Description:

The Bluetooth Tracker app enables users to uncover nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices that are actively advertising in the vicinity and track their signal strength using visual and audio cues to estimate proximity.
Upon detection of a device, the app presents its broadcasted name and UID, allowing users to initiate a monitoring session. During monitoring, real-time signal strength of the user's device is displayed via a bar graph. Furthermore, users can configure detection alerts (vibration or short sound) to be notified when a device is found during the live monitoring session without constant phone observation. These alerts can be set as either one-time alerts (triggered upon initial device detection) or scaling alerts (frequency increases as the RSSI signal strengthens). Additionally, users have the option to assign friendly names to discovered devices or pre-assign names if the device's ID is known (relevant to CTG devices only).
This application proves beneficial for individuals seeking to identify particular Bluetooth Low Energy devices in the vicinity and actively monitor their signal strength to gauge proximity. For instance, if a BLE device is misplaced within the user's home, this app serves as a tool to facilitate locating it.
